Terms of Use

Plain-language terms

Last updated: 16 July 2026

chess-report is a free tool operated by QI Investment S.à r.l., Luxembourg (“we”, “us”). By using it you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short and honest.

The service is free and provided “as is”

chess-report is offered free of charge and without warranty of any kind. We work hard to make the analysis accurate, but we don’t guarantee it is error-free, complete, or continuously available. It is a training aid, not professional advice — use your own judgement.

It may change or be discontinued

This is an early-phase product. We may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue the service, at any time. We’ll try to be reasonable about it, but we don’t promise that any feature will remain available.

Your content and data stay yours

The chess accounts you scan are public data on Chess.com and Lichess; we read them through those platforms’ official public APIs. Anything you provide — an email address, a saved scan — remains yours. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please don’t abuse the service: no automated scraping or bulk harvesting, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, no using it to harass others or for anything illegal. We rate-limit and query Chess.com and Lichess responsibly, and we ask you to as well. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Chess.com or Lichess.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of a free, as-is service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg and the European Union. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
